Biography

Sabrina Demarie, PhD, is Researcher of Sport Science at the University of Rome “Foro Italico”, Department of Movement, Human and Health Sciences since January 1st 2005. She is also member of the Sport Performance Laboratory with strong expertise in the study of athlete’s performance evaluation in laboratory and field settings, and in the study of human adaptations and adjustments to training in different sport disciplines, as well as in fitness programs for adults. Her main research fields are training load evaluation, performance analysis and training particularly in swimming, water polo and horse riding.

Biography

Rakesh Tomar is currently working as faculty at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Saudi Arabia. He has done his graduation and post-graduation from University Delhi. He has authored several publications in various journals and books. His publications reflect his research interests in exercise physiology, immunology, health and fitness. He is also an Associate Editor of The International Journal of Health, wellness and society, vol. 5(3), Editorial Board Member of Athens Journal of Sports. Dr. Tomar is serving as a board member for Asian Society of Kinesiology, Korea. He was principal investigator in 7 fully funded scholarly project and co-investigator in two. He also did research and contributed significantly in exercise psychology and sport sciences. He has over 100 publications and conference presentations across the world, more than 95 workshops and seminars, reviewed more 70 research papers in various journals, delivered keynote and invited talk in several conferences across the world.

I joined in the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) as a Senior Scientific Officer (Assistant Professor) on 12th June, 1995. According to scientific and academic capability I got promotion from Senior Scientific Officer (Assistant Professor) to Principal Scientific Officer (Associate Professor) on 28th February 2005. After joining the BAEC, I actively participated in the fields of research and development in organic chemistry such as synthesis, natural products and environmental chemistry. I have about 112 scientific publications in National and International Scientific peer reviewed Journals.
