Dr. Alain L Fymat is a medical-physical scientist and an educator. He is the current President/ CEO and Institute Professor at the International Institute of Medicine & Science with a previous appointment as Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer and Professor at the Weil Institute of Critical Care Medicine, California, U.S.A. He was formerly Professor of Radiology, Radiological Sciences, Radiation Oncology, Critical Care Medicine, and Physics at several U.S. and European Universities. Earlier, he was Deputy Director (Western Region) of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (Office of Research Oversight). At the Loma Linda Veterans Affairs Medical Center, he was Scientific Director of Radiology, Director of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center and, for a time, Acting Chair of Radiology. Previously, he was Director of the Division of Biomedical and Biobehavioral Research at the University of California at Los Angeles/Drew University of Medicine and Science. He was also Scientific Advisor to the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, National Research Council, for its postdoctoral programs tenable at the California Institute of Technology. He is Health Advisor to the American Heart & Stroke Association, Coachella Valley Division, California. He is Professor of Medicine at the School of Medical Sciences from the Asuncion National University in Asunción, Paraguay. He received is PhD degree in Cardiology, at the Nagasaki University School of Medicine, Nagasaki, Japan in 1994. He is the Founding Member of Latinoamerican Society of Interventional Cardiology (SOLACI). Author of more than 200 medical articles published in peer-reviewed American, European and Japanese journals in cardiology. Biography
My clinical research focuses on disease biomarker discovery and therapeutic targeting by clinical genomics analysis and diagnosis. For over 15 years, I have set up a system to work on therapeutic targeting including clinical bio-banking, primary-cell proliferation and differentiation, genomic analysis in DNA, mRNA and protein, quantitative network and machine-learning modeling. In clinical genomics diagnosis for hematology, genetics and oncology, I worked for clinical genomic database and genomics analysis/diagnosis from NGS, microarray and GWAS/SNP for clinical specimens. In clinical bioinformatics analysis, I have set up different platform and used different software to study clinical bioinformatics modules. Now I am going to work in Children Hospital of GA (CHOG) in Medical College of GA as (1) in clinical research, study CD34 stem cell induced into erythroid progenitors from adult bone marrow and fetal cord blood to identify drugs and genes related with gamma to beta globin switch for genetic diseases; (2) in clinical work, I investigate clinical genomics related to different drugs for hematology and genetic disease.

He completed his general surgical training at the University of Minnesota and completed his cardiovascular surgical fellowship training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, CO. Dr. St.Cyr has extensive research credentials, is widely published, has received numerous local and national research grants, has numerous patents in various fields of interest, and has presented at both national and international meetings. Joyce Ann Reder received ADN in 1993 from Delta College, University Center, Michigan. He received my BSN and then an MSN in nursing education from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. He is currently in the DNP program at Saginaw Valley State University, University Center, Michigan. He have 26 years of nursing experience in direct patient care including working in the acute-care setting and in the intensive care unit. He also have an experience as a contracted provider in private-duty nursing. For the past five years he have been focusing on teaching and have taught clinical and classroom courses for several universities and colleges in my area. He particularly enjoy clinical instruction because he get to know my students very well. He can still remember most of my clinical instructors from Delta College. These are instructors he had almost three decades ago. These nurse educators inspired me and were great role models. He try to be a great role model for his students as well. Andrew Hague’s interest in the technology that was to become CellSonic began in 1987 with the first lithotripter in Britain. Using his own capital, he developed the CellSonic VIPP machines and sold them around the world. In 2016, Professor Hague devised the protocol for curing cancer and this is now used in CellSonic Clinics in India, Peru, Switzerland and Poland. Many more are planned. There are no side effects, drugs must not be used and the cancer is stopped within three days. CellSonic VIPP has been used for physiotherapy and sports medicine for twenty years. Where the patient also had cut skin the cure for non-healing wounds was discovered and that led to repairing nerves and pain release. Dr. Eber Luis Stevao (DDS, S.Ed, PhD-Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon) was born in Southern Brazil in the year of 1968. He graduated from Pontifical Catholic University of Parana, School of Dentistry, Curitiba-Brazil, obtaining a DDS degree. He completed his post-graduation studies in Teachings and Didactics and received the title of "Specialist in Advanced Education”. After his Residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 1995 thru 1999. During the residency he started his Doctorate in OMS receiving his Ph.D. degree from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, School of Dentistry, Porto Alegre-Brazil. His thesis was about Bone Repair. In 2001 he was accepted for a 2-full year training in OMS at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas-TX under Dr. Larry Wolford´s tutelage. At the end of 2003 Dr. Stevao brought to Brazil the TMJ Surgical Prosthesis technique and legalized the TMJ total joint prosthesis (TMJ Concepts System) being the first surgeon to perform a science-based TMJ total joint alloplastic replacement in Brazil. In 2008 he was the first South American to enter the reclusive American Society of Temporomandibular Surgeons (ASTMJS). Besides his three already published books he wrote, edited and published the very first illustrative text-book about TMJ Surgery launched in 2014, Chicago, Illinois and has several publications in international journals. He successfully completed the NBDE I, II and NERB in 2015 in the USA obtaining the title of Doctor of Dental Surgery. Since 2016 Dr. Stevao is an invited OMF surgeon at Elisabeth-Stiftung Hospital in Birkenfeld and at Professor Maure´s Praxisklinik in Sankt Wendel, Germany where he consult and operate patients every three months. In 2018 he became board licensed in the State of Ohio. He has been invited to lecture all over the world about complex Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Resmi Ravindran’s research has focused on translational research by using the multiplex microbead immunoassay system for detection of biomarkers for chronic infectious diseases. Since 2005, she has worked on developing highly efficient and high throughput multiplex approaches for infectious disease biomarkers (e.g., tuberculosis). In addition, she has employed novel approaches to study disease related biomarkers in bodily fluids by combining the power of multiplexing systems and computational modeling. John F. Bebawy, MD is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology & Neurological Surgery at Northwestern University. His clinical and research interests and expertise relate to Neuroanesthesia, with a focus on interventions that affect cerebral blood flow and cerebrovascular hemodynamics. Petrikovsky completed his postgraduate training at SUNY Downstate/Maimonides Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY) and his fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Connecticut in 1988. That same year, he was a visiting researcher at Kings College School of Medicine (London, UK), specializing in Fetal Medicine and Surgery. From 1992-1999, he served as a Chief of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital. He serves as a member of the editorial board of journals of neonatal intensive care, ultrasound diagnosis in obstetrics and pediatrics. He also serves as a reviewer for the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Journal of Clinical Ultrasound and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles and ten book chapters. A recent major contribution to the medical literature was a textbook entitled Fetal Disorders, published by John Wiley & Sons. He has a busy private practice. Among his research awards are the Recognition Award of the Brooklyn Gynecologic Society, Obstetrical Society of Boston, Howard Levine MD Science Award, Bristol-Myers, Squibble/Mead Johnson Traveling Fellowship, and the Award of the Italian Society of Perinatal Medicine. Since March 2011 to April 2017, I was studied in Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine for my Master and Doctoral degree. In the Master course my supervisor was Prof. Toshimitsu Niwa, my research topic was mechanisms of Indoxyl sulfate (uremic toxin) induced cardiac fibrosis and hypertrophy; Since March 2014 I started the doctoral course at cardiology department, supervisor was Prof.Toyoaki Murohara and A/Prof. Kyosuke Takeshita; I kept the research on mechanism of Indoxly sulfate induced vascular proliferation; At the same time began to explore the underlying mechanisms of the restraint stress induced adipose inflammation glucose metabolism. During master and doctoral course I was published 28 SCI paper (8 of them first author). In April 2015, I received an award of Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS) Research Fellowship (DC1) for Yong Scientists. Since 1977 she has been working in the Frank Laboratory of Neutron Physics in the field of instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) at radioanalytical complex REGATA at the reactor IBR-2 designed for studies in the Life Sciences and Material Science. I worked for nearly 2 decades at the University of Malaya, Malaysia, beginning as a naïve academic lecturer at the Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Medicine. Having a background as a medical doctor, it was such an incredible journey to work outside my home country-Thailand. This was a challenging experience to groom myself in transforming from a plain medical doctor to a teacher, who transferred knowledge to students in the same field. And indeed, what a gift to me that throughout my years at the University of Malaya, I had the opportunity to get to learn not only in teaching for undergraduate medical students, Master programs (e.g., MSc (Parasitology) and Master of Pathology) and PhD levels for postgraduate students and as a visiting Professor at Centro Escolar University, Philippines and Walailak University, Thailand. The experiences geared me to broaden my horizon not only dealing with students of different educational and cultural backgrounds who were eager to learn but also various research aspects related to “Clinical Tropical Medicine” with a special focus on medical parasitology. The challenges I accepted, helped me in uplifting my skill and expertise at international levels in various aspects from publications, speaker ships (e.g., Keynote, Plenary, invited), editorial board member, peer reviewer, associate and Guest Editors. George K Paraskevas born in Greece and works as Associate Professor of Anatomy at Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Thessaloniki, Greece. He received the Medical degree from Medical School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, attained the Ph.D. degree in 2000 (degree: excellent) and gained full qualification as specialist in orthopaedic surgery in 2005. In 2005 was appointed as Postdoctoral Lecturer at Department of Anatomy, AUTh and in 2010 served as Assistant Professor at the Department of Anatomy in Medical School of AUTh and since 2014 serves as Associate Professor. He has also served in the past as a Visiting Professor of Anatomy at Pharmacy School (AUTh), at School of Sports Science (AUTh), at School of Arts (AUTh). His research and scientific fields of interest include congenital anomalies of bones and muscles, trauma and surgery, entrapment syndromes of nerves and neuropathies, variational anatomy of vascular system, history of Anatomy, anatomical nomenclature, anthropometric studies and surgical anatomy and embryology of gastrointestinal tract. Dr G Paraskevas is a member of the Editorial Board of 141 international medical journals and supervisor and member of the advisory board of 15 dissertations (Ph.D Thesis). Costas Karabatsas MD, DMed(Bristol), MRCOphth, FEBO, FRCS(Ed)Ophth is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology with the Department of Biomedical Sciences (Optics & Optometry), University of Western Attica (UNIWA), Athens, Greece. He is also a practicing Consultant Eye Surgeon, specializing in cornea, refractive and glaucoma surgery. He gained his Ophthalmology training and his clinical corneal fellowship in the UK, at the Department of Ophthalmology, Bristol Eye Hospital, where he has also served as a Clinical Lecturer. He was awarded a Doctorate title (Doctor of Medicine, DMed Higher Degree) from the University of Bristol, for his thesis on management of post-keratoplasty astigmatism with the use of computerized topography. He subsequently completed a refractive surgery-LASIK mini Fellowship with the University of Crete, Greece. He has served (1999-2007) as Ass. He is Board certified in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology. Following his training in England and USA, Dr. Codreanu returned to his home country, serving as an Associate Professor of Radiology at the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemitanu” in Chisinau, Moldova. Jawahar Kalra is an award-winning clinical researcher, educator, healthcare provider, academic leader, and community builder. He is a professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan (U of S) and has served as Department Head of Pathology and Department Head of Laboratory Medicine in the Saskatoon Health region. He received his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in biochemistry and Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He completed his residency training in Laboratory Medicine at the University of Ottawa. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the Canadian Academy of Clinical Biochemistry, the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, and an Elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, UK. He is a pioneer in the Canadian medical profession and is considered one of Canada’s leading medical biochemists/chemical pathologists. He has gained international acclaim for his role in laboratory medicine reorganization and his innovative research in variety of fields of biomedical and diagnostic importance. He also has published a number of valuable researches in a number of international scientific Journals , (in which he forwarded (for the first time) solutions for: 1- sudden infant death syndrome(SIDS) ,(Alfleesy Hypothesis ).2-He had explained Bangungut (Pok kuri) phenomenon and put a solution for this delimma.3- Also he discovered a wrong theory of Zuckerman for oogenesis (1951) .4- Alfleesy discovered the wrong theory of Calvin Bridge(1909) for nondisjunction extrachromosome 21 and Down Syndrome), in his theory Calvin determined mothers as a direct cause of trisomy 21 and Down Syndrome children (maternal cause) , which was not correct at all.Alfleesy proposed a new scientific suggestion. Alfleesy has announced an appeal to all mothers in the world that they are not a responsible or the cause for Down Syndrome children as the scientists had claimed for a century. He is an author of two books. The forensic medicine book , which had wined the University award in 2000.And the other book : medical ethics. He is also an Editorial Board member in a number of International Journals.

Luiz Joaquim Castelo Branco Carvalho is a plant physiologist with concentration in plant biochemist focusing on metabolism, particularly involving carbohydrate, proteins and vitamins. His research group has combined biochemical, molecular biological and genomics approaches to study biosynthetic pathways in natural genetic variation in plants, especially cassava storage root. This has included determining the sub cellular location of the enzymes and their structure-function relationships, and the role of metabolites in regulation of gene expression. The knowledge gained from these studies is now being exploited using synthetic biology approaches, genomic assisted breeding and new utilization of natural starch from cassava storage root for metabolic engineering of high value products in plants for bioenergy products. In parallel, Carvalho�s group was responsible for the discovery of mutants in the starch biosynthesis pathway and recognition of carotenoid-protein complex with specific protein responsible for -carotene sequestration in chromoplast of non-photosynthetic tissue. This is providing insights into researcher communities on natural enhancement of protein content in storage root of cassava, a non-photosynthetic carotenoid accumulate plant.

Lajos Lakatos received his doctorate in medicine in 1966 at the University Medical School, Debrecen, Hungary. He was subsequently a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Pediatrics of University Medical School, Debrecen (1966-1970). Dr. Lakatos defended PhD dissertation in 1979 and the rank of DSc in 1992 at the Hungarian Academy of Science. Between 1983 and 1998 he was the member of the International Perinatal Collegium, and was elected to the director of Department of Pediatrics at Kenézy Teaching Hospital. Publications: 5 books (1 English), 8 book-chapters (4 in English) 172 articles (70 in English). He was the first neonatologist in the world who used D-penicillamine in the neonatal period. Awards: Bókay medal 1997, Kulin medal 2004 & Battyány-Strattman award in 2013. Dr Martain Pierre Jean Loonen is a consultant in plastic surgery with extensive experience and interest in plastic, reconstructive, cosmetic, and hand and wrist surgery. He is a recognized fellow of the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum of the Board of Plastic Surgeons of Belgium, and holds recognized membership of the Dutch Society of Plastic surgeons. Dr. Loonen holds a Doctoral Degree in Plastic Surgery and has achieved his degree with outstanding honors as the youngest Ph.D. candidate to have attained that distinction at his Alma Mater, the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. His Ph.D. thesis concentrated on the qualitative and quantitative statistical analyses of plastic surgery research since 1946 and he developed an alternative for the Impact Factor calculation of journals.

Jean-Marie Exbrayat is a Professor at Lyon Catholic University and Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes (France). He obtained a PhD in 1977 at the University of Montpellier (France), and a D. Sci. in 1986 at Paris 6 University (France). Being the head of a research unit, his research concerns the reproductive biology of bony fishes, amphibians, reptiles, mammals especially rodents, and some invertebrates, related to the environmental conditions comprising pollution, and embryonic development of rare animals. Among the methods used, histology was adapted to the study of preserved animals. Pr. Exbrayat was the head of a specialized course in histology, and teaches animal biology, histology, embryology, history and philosophy of sciences. He supervised or co-supervised 28 PhD. He is the author or editor of 14 books, and numerous publications and communications in animal biology as well as in interdisciplinary works about science history and philosophy. He reviews articles to be published in international journals, he is a member of several editorial boards, scientific societies and international institutes, a co-editor of the collection "Science, History, Philosophy" published by a French Publisher, and president of the Interdisciplinary Institute of Epistemological Studies (IIEE).

Dheyaa B Yousuf was born in Nenava, Iraq on 2 Feb.1959. He graduated from Al-Jumhowria High School in Baghdad, Iraq 1977, and from the University of Mosel with a Bachelor of agricultural Science in Field Crops Department in June 1981. He serves in the Iraqi Army during 1981-1985. He awarded the Masters of Science degree in field crops department, College of Agriculture at the University of Baghdad in 1987. In March 1988 he was one of the Faculty of Agriculture staff as an assistant researcher and researcher in 1991. He worked as a junior plant breeder. He developed the 1st variety of corn in Iraq for spring cultivation in 1994. Then he completed his Ph.D. study during 1994-1997 with excellent degree in plant breeding (corn breeding). Three years later of his education, he awarded a visiting scientist for CIMMYT for 3 months during February-May 2000. He worked as a consultant and then project manager in the Research Center of Industrial crops during 1995-2003. He came on active duty in 2006 as a Head of Center of Plant Breeding & Genetics and still to July 2016. Following, he was an active membership in the National Committee of Registration and Release of Plant Variety in Iraq (2007-2012) and the National Committee of Plant Genetic Resources in Iraq (2008-2013). In 2008, he worked as a senior breeder for sunflower using cytoplasmic male sterility with the Ministry of Agriculture during 2008-2012. Al-Marmooka International Company for Machines, Equipment and Agricultural Supplies, Iraq was invited him to be a consultant during 2011- up to date. He have deduced and/ or developed 2 dent corn, 2 popcorn varieties, 2 bread wheat and 2 durum wheat cultivars, 1 triticale cultivars which are released for wide cultivation in Iraq and have registered 2 sunflower hybrids as a senior breeder. Whereas, he have contributed in deducing and developing 3 bread wheat cultivars, 1 triticale cultivar and 1 mutant cotton variety. However, he registered 1 patents in early 2017. He is the national coordinator for ARASIA project (RAS5048, during 2007-2012). Yousuf have edited 2 scientific books entitled "New Directions in Plant Breeding, in 2000 and the Quid of corn Cultivation and Production", 2012.

Apryl Brown who is a Fellow of the Royal Society in Public Health earned her MD from Ross University School of Medicine and her MPH from Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine (SPTHM). As an alumna of Tulane University, she was honored as a 2012 SPTM Centennial Community Leader in Global Health and a life member of the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health. As a public health biologist, she oversaw the operations of the Detroit Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) which was a local entity of the national community network of MRC units initially headquartered in the Office of the Surgeon General while engaging in public health initiatives involving health promotion, disease prevention, health disparities, and early disease detection as well as public health preparedness. Dr. Brown who has served as a board of director of the state affiliate Michigan Public Health Association has fulfilled leadership roles within the American Public Health Association (APHA) such as the 2015-2017 presidency of the APHA Black Caucus of Health Workers. She has presented oral presentations at the APHA annual meetings as well as the 12th World Congress on Public Health in Istanbul, Turkey sponsored by the World Federation of Public Health Associations. Bechor Zvi Aminoff was born in the former Soviet Union, in Uzbekistan, Samarkand on 5 June, 1946. He studied medicine and in 1970 graduated with MD degree from the Samarkand Medical Institute, Uzbekistan, and received his PhD degree from Stavropol Medical Institute, Russia, in 1974. In 1982 the Aminoff family emigrated from the USSR to Israel, where Dr. Bechor Zvi Aminoff specialized in Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology. He was the Chairman of the Geriatrics D Department at the Sheba Medical Center, Tel-Hashomer since 1993 until 2005. He is or has been an Editorial Board Member of 26 international journals. He was awarded an Honorary Doctor degree of the Yorker International University, Firenze, Italy, 2009. On 16 February, 2015, he was awarded a Research Professor Degree from the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England. Results of his studies have been generalized in 4 recently published books, 123 published articles in renowned professional scientific journals and have been presented at World and Regional congresses.

Songjun Li is the Distinguished Professor and Institute Head (Department Chair) at the School of Materials Science & Engineering, JiangsuUniversity. He was elected Fellow of the British Royal Society of Chemistry, FRSC. He has been also the major Creator of the International Congress on Advanced Materials and the Executive President of the International Union of Advanced Materials which had run five consecutive conferences with about 2800 worldwide attendants. He joined the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (USA) as a postdoctoral researcher in 2008, followed by his Marie Curie Fellowship in Cranfield University (UK) during 2009-2011. He joined Jiangsu University in 2012 as the "Distinguished Professor" and then became the Institute Head (Department Chair) in 2013 and the Professor Committee Chair in 2015. He was awarded the "Jiangsu Distinguished Professor" by Jiangsu Province China in 2012 for his contribution to polymers and functional materials. He was elected President of the Chinese Advanced Materials Society (registered in Hong-Kong) in 2011 and a board member of the Society of Molecular Imprinting in 2015. Currently, He sits on the editorial boards of peer-reviewed journals including Journal of Inorganic and Organometallic Polymers and Materials (Springer), Journal of the Chinese Advanced Materials Society (Taylor & Francis), International Journal of Physical Sciences, Advances in Biomaterials Research, Academic Journal of Material Sciences, Austin Journal of Bioorganic & Organic Chemistry, MOJ Polymer Science, Advancement in Scientific and Engineering Research, etc. He has published over 100 research articles and edited 7 books in prestigious Elsevier, Wiley-VCH, Springer, etc. He has been also invited with thousands of times to be reviewer or evaluation expert for various grants and international journals, and appointed as internal and external examiners for PhD and Master Theses as well.

Ahmed Khamas received his MBChB (2004) from University of Baghdad and Ph.D. from Tokyo Medical and Dental University, TMDU, in Medical Sciences (2012). He recently joined Ibn-Alhaytham Medical Center, Ibra, Oman and was the head of continuing medical education at the Garmyan Health Directorate, Sulaimaniya, Iraq. Prior to joining the doctoral course in 2008, he was a research student at TMDU (2007-2008). He is a member of the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) and Cancer Epigenetics Society (CES).

Iulian-Andrei Gilca is a general surgeon with interests in oncologic surgery of the intraabdominal organs. He graduated from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, year of 2015. Since he started training to become a surgeon, he was fascinated by the hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery and focused on acquiring expertise in this fields. Until now he trained in university hospitals from Bucharest, Romania and in Dresden, Germany among world wide recognized experts in oncologic surgery.

Chung Yi Chen obtained PhD in 1999 at Kaohsiung Medical University. Currently teaches in Fooyin University, as most young is also the most senior professors and deans. The past 20 years, he has his scientific interests focused on life-threatening diseases, including traditional Chinese medicine used for cancer research. Analysis in recent year’s major active ingredients such as ginger, pepper and cinnamon used in gastrointestinal cancer, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiparasitic, and other topics. President Chen specializes in isolation, purification and structural analysis of active components of plants. President Chen directed against active constituents of oral cancer, liver cancer, and rectal cancer. He was just over 45 years old, but his work has more than 250 papers, Taiwan one of the young talents. He was invited more than 450 kinds of Journal editorial boards. He won numerous awards at home and abroad, from 2015, was awarded the lifetime achievement award; from 2016 was awarded the health care & biotechnology merit award; from 2017 was awarded the nation academic award.

Giuseppe Lanza was born in Catania (Italy) in 1982. He currently works as Senior Academic Researcher at the University of Catania (Italy). After graduation with honours in Medicine, he trained at the School of Neurology and got the international PhD at the same University. He specialized in Cerebrovascular Diseases and Neurosonology at the Stroke Unit in La Spezia Hospital (Italy). As visiting Clinical Research Fellow, he further trained in Clinical Neurophysiology at the “Royal Victoria Infirmary” Hospital and the Department of Neuroscience, Newcastle University (UK). In 2013 he was selected for a Scientific Fellowship promoted by the European Federation of Neurological Societies. From May 2013 to October 2018 he worked as Consultant Neurologist at the Oasi Research Institute – IRCCS in Troina (Italy), which is a Collaborating Center of the World Health Organization (WHO) for research and training in Neurosciences. From 2015 to October 2018, he taught Neurology at the Kore University of Enna (Italy). He has coauthored more than 90 publications in international refereed Journals and Conferences/Meetings, and he also serves as Editor and invited Reviewer of several international Journals. More recently, he has obtained the Master of Science (Level I) in “Clinical Research” and the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor (procedure for the Italian University Professor position recruiting, based on scientific qualification criteria). Finally, he is recipient of the Publons “Sentinel of Science” award (year 2016) and the Publons “Peer Review Award” (years 2017 and 2018).
